Equipped with a dual-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, the Kobra 2 Max is exceptionally powerful. Commands sent to the hardware are executed instantaneously, allowing for print speeds of up to 500 mm/sec. This enables lightning-fast yet extremely precise printing.
Optimized Construction
The sturdy construction of the Kobra 2 Max features synchronized Z-axis with 2 motors and a dual Y-axis running on SG15 bearings, providing the best possible conditions for the dual direct drive extruder. The combination of robust yet elegant hardware ensures efficient and precise material extrusion, while also providing highly effective material cooling. This results in barely noticeable layers and excellent print quality.
Vibration Compensation and Flow Control
The vibration compensation, which can be activated with a single click, allows the control unit of the Kobra 2 Max to detect resonant frequencies along the X and Y axes and counteract vibrations by intelligently utilizing the motor system. Say goodbye to offset print layers, as your 3D models will shine with incredible accuracy and stability.
Flow control detects irregularities in the material flow and compensates for them through targeted retraction and reloading. This leads to uniform, fully printed layers, elevating print quality and detail to a higher level.
